First dates, celebration dinners, or even just a treat for yourself. Everyone loves a good restaurant with incredible food. First Hill has some amazing restaurants filled with culture and great people. We’ve created a list of some of our favorites for you to try.

Terra Plata

Terra Plata is an “earth-to-plate” concept restaurant with creative, Mediterranean dishes made with locally sourced food. They offer wine, hand-crafted cocktails, and locally brewed draft beer. When the weather is nice, a visit to their rooftop and an edible garden is a must.

Vitos Restaurant and Lounge

This iconic restaurant and lounge has been around since the 1950s, serving delicious Italian dishes. Vito’s has a history of culture and highlights the diverse talent from all over the Pacific Northwest. Five nights a week there’s live music, so it’s definitely a place to visit.

Barrio Mexican Kitchen + Bar

Barrio Mexican Kitchen + Bar is an upscale, stylish cantina that offers Mexican food with a modern twist. They also have happy hour to accompany their delicious food selection. Be sure to visit this restaurant for that perfect Mexican dish.

Little Neon Taco

Little Neon Taco is just buzzing with life. The new restaurant features Mexican specialties, accompanied by tacos with both modern and classic twists. They offer lunch and dinner, with hopes to expand to weekend brunch. Little Neon Taco is a spin-off of the taco counter run out of the Capitol Hill bar, Nacho Borracho.
