TwitterPinterestFacebook

Desserts are the perfect end to anything, whether it’s a meal, a day at work, or a trip to the beach. The sweet hybrid of flavors and ingredients can be a dream. San Francisco is home to many different sweet desserts spots for you to get the perfect sugar rush.

Smitten Ice Cream

Smitten Ice Cream is a great place for some fresh-churned ice cream with unique flavors. For example, Matcha Verbana with Stonehill Matcha or Cookie Dough with Pretzels and Chocolate Chips are some fan favorites. All of their treats and locations are super Instagrammable, so be sure to catch a few pictures when you visit.

Bi-Rite Creamery

Bi-Rite Creamery makes hand-crafted ice cream with amazing flavors like S’mores with Marshmallow Ribbon and Graham Crackers. They also sell sundaes, cookies, cakes, and cupcakes, all made with locally-sourced organic dairy and farm ingredients.

Mr Holmes Bakehouse

Mr. Holmes Bakehouse is well-known for its delicious cruffins. Each day features a specialty flavor cruffin — a hybrid of a croissant and a muffin, filled with jam or cream and decorated for more flavor — so you have a chance at an amazing variety of cruffins.

Hometown Creamery

Hometown Creamery is the first creamery in San Francisco to make small batch ice cream on site. Started by two brothers who wanted to create something and serve the community they love, Hometown Creamery uses raw ingredients to make their unique flavors.

The Baked Bear

The Baked Bear offers custom ice cream sandwiches with homemade, freshly baked cookies and naturally flavored ice cream. Their ice cream flavors include vanilla, cocoa, coffee, caramel, and peppermint. Some of the cookie flavors include red velvet, macadamia, funfetti, and more. You can mix and match the top and bottom of your sandwich with cookies, brownies, or donuts to go with your ice cream flavor and a topping. Make the ice cream sandwich of your dreams at The Baked Bear.

Dynamo Donuts + Coffee

Dynamo Donut + Coffee is the product of a new mom’s craving for donuts, turned into an overall love for them. Dynamo’s most popular donut is the Vanilla Bean Donut, with a mixture of salty and sweet flavors. The baking team uses seasonal, local, and organic ingredients to make fluffy and tasty cakes and donuts. The environment is minimalist and gorgeous with a patio and garden. It’s definitely a must-visit.
