Find comfortable, convenient housing at Common Clinton

Last Updated on

In times of uncertainty, it can be incredibly difficult to commit to anything, whether it’s a new Netflix show (there are too many options!), a new career or a new apartment. But if you’re looking to move, you might not have much of a choice. At Common, we’ve been working with renters across the country to find them safe, comfortable housing no matter their situation — whether they’re looking to put down roots in a new city, or just need temporary housing until quarantine is over. Last week we opened Common Clinton, our first coliving home in Midtown Manhattan, and we’re especially excited for members to experience everything it has to offer — from its stunning suites to the gorgeous neighborhood that surrounds it.Keep reading to learn more about Common Clinton and how Common can help you find housing no matter what your needs are.

The Suites

Like in any Common coliving home, the suites at Common Clinton come fully furnished and fully renovated, with high-end appliances and up-scale details like exposed brick and the building’s original fireplaces. Each suite has 3-4 bedrooms, complete with a bedframe, mattress, nightstand, lamp, and closet. That means you can avoid the hassle of working with movers, and don’t have to deal with the added stress of furnishing your home when so many retailers are shut down. For couples, or members who want more space, many bedrooms at Common Clinton also offer private in-suite bathrooms and queen sized beds. Coliving at Common is designed to help mitigate roommate issues, like who cleaned the kitchen last or whose turn it is to buy toilet paper, by providing those services for our members ourselves. In response to COVID-19, we’ve doubled down on these conveniences, increasing our cleanings of shared spaces like kitchens and bathrooms, and providing our members with extra shared goods such as toilet paper and paper towels. Common Clinton also offers free laundry and even free detergent. You might not be able to tell from the photos, but one of the best parts about these suites are the high ceilings. Even though you’re living in one of the most bustling neighborhoods in New York City, you’ll never feel cramped for space.

The Neighborhood

Common Clinton is conveniently located in the heart of Hell’s Kitchen, the perfect balance of the busy, vibrant avenues that New York City is famous for and the tree-lined streets that make it feel like home. While there’s certainly less activity in the city right now, Common Clinton’s prime location still makes it the ideal home for anyone quarantining in NYC.
