Stop by local favorite Alley Lounge favorite for craft cocktails and delicious tacos, or head over to Killer Yacht Club on Admiralty Way for a speakeasy atmosphere – just a short walking distance from the water. A balanced combination of local boutiques and national chains makes Marina del Rey an incredibly convenient neighborhood for both leisurely shopping and essential services. The waterside shopping district is home to nail salons, blow-out bars, dry cleaners, and grocery stores, mixed with places to find unique pieces from swimwear to office attire. Abbot Kinney, one of the city’s most unique blocks for shopping, is also the perfect spot to shop till you drop.

Getting Around

While Los Angeles is well known for its highways (and traffic), Marina del Rey offers a wide variety of public transportation options. For a unique experience, hop on the Waterbus, which takes you to six seaside locations across the Marina with a gorgeous ocean view. You can also travel locally for free using Circuit, an electric shuttle program that takes you around Marina del Rey and to Venice. For transportation across the city, Marina del Rey also has several bus lines, and is nearby the Metro Rail E Line in Santa Monica.
