There are so many restaurants lining the streets of Lakeview East, with nearly every cuisine you can imagine. A new favorite comes by way of Sushi + Rotary Sushi Bar, if sushi on a conveyor belt sounds like a delicious evening to you. Other neighborhood gems include Moccozy for Korean, New Banh Mi for some of the best Vietnamese food you’ll find in Chicago, The Gundis with Mediterranean flavors, and Bluebird for new American eats. What would a neighborhood be without a go-to diner as well? Stella’s brings the down-home vibes to this vibrant neighborhood for a great meal with friends or post-night out breakfast.

Lakeview has a great drinking scene, from local breweries like DryHop Brewers to more traditional pubs like Brendan’s and Wilde Bar. If you’re looking for a dive bar, Delilah’s is the way to go, but we personally recommend the speakeasy at Lower Broadway, tucked away just under Brendan’s, and perfect for a great cocktail.

Lakeview East is perfectly positioned close to Downtown Chicago, Belmont Harbor, and Wrigley Field. You can go see the Chicago Cubs one moment, and catch a live music act at the Vic Theatre that same night. Chicago is also widely known for its comedy scene, and you’re positioned right by Sketch Comedy Fest and a short drive from the legendary Second City Theatre.
