What you can rent in Bushwick, Brooklyn for under $1,500/month

TwitterPinterestFacebook

In the last decade or so, Brooklyn has without a doubt become New York’s “it” borough. From the charming and scenic–if a little touristy–Dumbo, to Williamsburg’s embarrassment of hopping bars and popular restaurants, Brooklyn has become the place to be! The Bushwick neighborhood, however, offers access to these popular (read: $$$) neighborhoods as well as its fair share of hotspots for a fraction of the price.

Our latest fully-furnished Bushwick home, Common Gates, is conveniently settled near the Myrtle-Wyckoff station, and offers a private room with regular professional cleanings, on-site (free!) laundry, and a sense of community with our many organized events all for $1,309 a month. If Bushwick is where you want to be, Common Gates is one of the best options out there. However, it isn’t the only option! Here’s a look at what you can rent in Bushwick for under $1,500.

1130 Lafayette

This $1,200/month studio might lack space, but the natural light is sure to make the unit feel much more comfortable. The brand-new kitchen is complete with a dishwasher and central AC will keep you cool through balmy New York summers! While it is a studio, the bathroom is shared with another unit on the floor.

1311 Halsey

Scraping our budget ceiling at $1,500 a month, this first floor studio is situated just a block from the Halsey L stop. The gas stove and ample counter space will make cooking at home a treat, however if you aren’t in the mood there are no shortage of neighborhood bars and restaurants to choose from. The unit hosts plenty of closet space and large windows, but unfortunately no room for four-legged friends — pets aren’t allowed in this unit.

564 Central

Make your loft dreams come true with this charming Bushwick one bedroom. $1,400 a month gets you a marble bathroom, a balcony, and central air. Lofts can make some feel claustrophobic, but if you can handle the height then this pet-friendly listing is absolutely worth a closer look.

Common Gates

If you’re looking for the best that Bushwick has to offer, Common Gates is the way to go. $1,309 a month makes this one of the most attainable options on this list, and that price gets you a private bedroom in a fully-furnished unit in addition to utilities, WiFi, and even supplies — no need to fret over who used the last of the hand soap! The amenities don’t end there: access to community workspaces, a movie room, and a rooftop deck are all part of the deal at Common Gates.

Whether you’re already a Bushwick resident and just weighing your options, or considering a move across the bridge, Common Gates is one of the best places to land. Explore this home–as well as everything else that the neighborhood has to offer–and see why Bushwick is one of Brooklyn’s best kept secrets.
